Saints and Sinners, 2022-

Saints & Sinners reimagines mythological stories of sacrifice, violence, and transformation through a deeply personal lens. Drawing from ancient narratives, the series does not aim to retell myths as they were, but to embody their emotional truths.

These paintings translate archetypes—martyrs, monsters, gods, and outcasts—into figures shaped by lived experience and inner conflict. Saints are not purely holy; sinners are not purely damned. Each figure exists in the grey space between reverence and ruin.

Through bold forms and raw symbolism, Saints & Sinners explores the contradictions that live within us all: our capacity to harm and to heal, to surrender and to resist. The result is a visceral world where myth meets memory, and the sacred collides with the human.
