Feel it

Everything starts with a feeling—a sensation of not quite belonging. Like an explorer stepping onto unfamiliar shores, carrying the weight of outsider citizenship. Body and soul suspended between cultures, places, people. Life flows like a moving image, and I am the image maker.

Express it

From the shadow springs light. Through the cracks of heartbreak, pain shines softly. Lonely, quiet days carve pathways deep into my soul, yearning to express itself. I listen—to longing, to whispers, to the space between doubt, boredom, and hope. It is here, traces of my soul emerge—like stars breaking through the dark night.

  • I am the snake eating my own tail—always in motion, at home in water and silence. Living between worlds, I exist in liminality—an eternal nomad.

A post-Soviet queer refugee, living and working nomadically in the floating boat studio on London canals. Born in Lithuania during the time of Soviet Union dissolution. I arrived in the UK at the age of 10, carrying the restless spirit of my nomadic ancestors.

Never fully here, never fully there—I am everywhere and nowhere all at once. I am that I am.

  • This body of work reflects my fragmented identity and the struggle to belong—a dance between life and death.

I explore liminal spaces, the aftermath of societal upheaval,
and the personal and collective weight of memory, trauma, and sexuality.

This is my mood board, my sketchbook—a visual gateway into my feelings and lived experiences.

  • There was no single moment—no clear beginning, no final end.
In my beginning lived the seeds of my end, and in every ending, something new began. It has always been unfolding, cycling, shifting, becoming.

  • It comes from the whispers of the soul— feelings that live beyond language. Through image and mark-making, I trace what cannot be spoken.

My personal experience is the point of departure—a way to navigate and question my displaced identity, to make sense of what’s felt but not easily defined.

  • I use whatever medium speaks loudest in the moment: photography, painting, drawing—installation, performance, text, sound, film—they all become tools to translate what needs to be expressed.

Through this fusion, I explore the body as a living archive—a site of personal mythology, identity in flux, and continuous transformation.

  • To feel deeply, live fully, love fiercely. To experience the world in all its complexity—and to leave a trace, however small, that says I was here.
