Live or Die, 2020
Live or Die is a visceral study of tension between vitality and decay. In this series, flesh presses into and crushes dead flowers—an intimate choreography of body and mortality.
The photographs capture moments of collision: soft skin meets brittle petals, life asserts itself against remnants of beauty now wilted. Each image becomes a meditation on impermanence, desire, and the violence of tenderness.
Through these gestures, Live or Die explores the body as both mourner and survivor—aching, remembering, resisting the final stillness. It asks what it means to touch what’s already gone, and in doing so, feel more alive.
